TREASURE TRAILS IN DENBIGH

The fun way to explore Denbigh. Are you looking for something to do with family and friends or seeking a fun day out with the kids in Denbigh? Then why not explore Denbigh on this self-guided Treasure Hunt themed Treasure Trail.

As you follow the Trail route, can you solve the sneaky clues set on existing buildings, permanent features and monuments to discover the location of the buried treasure? This Trail starts at Denbigh Football Club and explores the historic town of Denbigh which is dominated by the 13th century castle. you'll be lead through the winding narrow backstreets and visit all the historical sites of this medieval town which has a long and varied history.

FREE - GUIDED TOWN WALKS

Get to know Denbigh : FREE Guided Town Walks : Every Saturday & Sunday - May to September. Walks are approx. 1.5 hours. Meet in front of Denbigh Library at 10.30am. Discover some of the history of Denbigh and its buildings with a stroll around its streets in the company of a local guide.

DENBIGH TOWN HALL - WI COUNTRY MARKET - 9AM TO 12PM

WI Country Market is held every Friday in the Market Hall.

The market is a lively place with stallholders selling local produce of a high standard. Including preserves, chutneys, jams and honey. There is also a fine range of home baked produce, free range eggs, vegetables & plants. Plus a wide selection of home made crafts including cards, pictures, knitted and sewn items

THEATR TWM O'R NANT - FREE FILM SHOW - 1.30PM

Vintage Matinee - 'Holiday on the Buses 1973'... Spin-off from the popular TV series about the misadventures of a bus crew. There is mayhem at a holiday camp in Wales when Stan, Jack and Blakey go to work there during the summer. Starring Reg Varney and Doris Hare. **It was filmed on location at The Pontin's Holiday Camp, Prestatyn and some scenes were also filmed at Dyserth, at the Waterfall Shop. Other locations include Rhuddlan and Rhyl.

Llanelli based theatre company 'It's An Act' present this hilarious comedy drama written by John Godber and directed by Jack Llewellyn.

This superb comedy drama features the characters Bet and Al who lead a quiet, humdrum life in their small rural home, until Bet wins a ‘Romantic Breaks’ competition in a magazine. The prize, a holiday in Paris, represents their first experience abroad and has profound effects on the way they look at the world around them once they return home. They bicker over French cuisine, wrestle with their phrasebook, and fend off would-be muggers on the Metro in this hilarious depiction of the British abroad.
