DENBIGH HERITAGE LECTURES - 25TH JANUARY TO 29 MARCH 2018

Denbigh Town Council will once again be holding a series of heritage lectures commencing Thursday 25th January for a period of ten weeks.

All lectures are held in the Denbigh Town Hall - admission is FREE. Doors open 7.00pm. Lectures start 7.30pm. Refreshments available.

DENBIGH TOWN HALL - PEOPLE'S MARKET - 9AM TO 2PM

Denbigh People's Market is held on the last Friday of every month. The market is a lively place with stallholders selling local produce of a high standard. The choice of produce includes preserves, chutneys and honey. There is also a fine range of home baked produce. Plus free range eggs, vegetables & plants. Plus a selection of local arts & crafts.

Refreshments available, tea & coffee served with homemade scones. New stallholders selling local produce are always welcome. Further information: 01745 812184

THEATR TWM O'R NANT - VICTORIA AND ABDUL - 7.30PM

Denbigh Film Club presents : 'Victoria and Abdul'

When Abdul Karim (Ali Fazal), a young clerk, travels from India to participate in Queen Victoria's (Judi Dench) Golden Jubilee, he is surprised to find favor with the Queen herself. As the Queen questions the constrictions of her long-held position, the two forge an unlikely and devoted alliance with a loyalty to one another that her household and inner circle all attempt to destroy. As the friendship deepens, the Queen begins to see a changing world through new eyes and joyfully reclaims her humanity.
