TREASURE TRAILS IN DENBIGH

The fun way to explore Denbigh. Are you looking for something to do with family and friends or seeking a fun day out with the kids in Denbigh? Then why not explore Denbigh on this self-guided Treasure Hunt themed Treasure Trail.

As you follow the Trail route, can you solve the sneaky clues set on existing buildings, permanent features and monuments to discover the location of the buried treasure? This Trail starts at Denbigh Football Club and explores the historic town of Denbigh which is dominated by the 13th century castle. you'll be lead through the winding narrow backstreets and visit all the historical sites of this medieval town which has a long and varied history.

FREE - GUIDED TOWN WALKS

Get to know Denbigh : FREE Guided Town Walks : Every Saturday & Sunday - May to September. Walks are approx. 1.5 hours. Meet in front of Denbigh Library at 10.30am. Discover some of the history of Denbigh and its buildings with a stroll around its streets in the company of a local guide.

DENBIGH TOWN HALL - WI COUNTRY MARKET - 9AM TO 12PM

WI Country Market every Friday.

The market is a lively place with stallholders selling local produce of a high standard. Including preserves, chutneys, jams and honey. There is also a fine range of home baked produce, free range eggs, vegetables & plants. Plus a wide selection of home made crafts including cards, pictures, knitted and sewn items

Refreshments available, tea & coffee served with homemade scones. New stallholders selling local produce are always welcome. Further information: 01745 812184

SATURDAY 25TH AUGUST
THE DENBIGH SHOW - 11AM

The Denbigh Show is an outdoor traditional family event held in the beautiful historic market town of Denbigh within the picturesque Vale of Clwyd. Filled with an interesting and varied range of activities and displays to suit all age group. The much loved flower show celebrates its 76th year, with almost 300 classes will offer all aspects of horticulture, floristry, art, handicraft, cookery and photography.

Gates open from 11am; Lon Felin Field, Ystrad Road, Denbigh LL16 4RH.

Adults £7.00, Concessions £5.00 and Children 16 and Under Free

Ample Free Parking on site, half hourly free shuttle bus throughout Denbigh from 12:30 departing from the Show ground, picking up at Bryn Stanley, Lenten Pool, High Street, Vale Street (Lidl), Rhyl Road (Plas Eleri), Ruthin Road (Trewen). The last bus from the field is 6pm

DENBIGH CASTLE - BANK HOLIDAY RE-ENACTMENT - 10AM TO 4PM

Re-enactors return to Denbigh Castle for a fun Bank Holiday weekend for all the family! They'll be in residence at the castle during the bank holiday weekend, transporting visitors back in time with a range of exciting living history displays.

Prices: Adult - £4.00; Family - £11.60 * Student and child under 16 - £2.40. Senior Citizen - £3.20 *Admits 2 adults and up to 3 children under 16
